Learning from our colleagues’ experiences in a group setting is said to be one of the most effective ways to address professional challenges.

Launched in April 2011, the group set the calendar of topics for an engaging year that examines the challenges faced by development staff in current times. Development staff from health and human service nonprofits meet face to face monthly to discuss topics such as donor databases, prospect research and best practices in applying for funding.

Participants can expect to engage in discussions that are topic specific, relevant and will build on knowledge gained through participation. Participants will inspire each other and professional bonds are formed as people relate to shared knowledge and experience.
