Community Resource Center (CRC) offers the most comprehensive and affordable Grant Seeking and Grant Writing workshop in Colorado! You will receive practical, hands-on instruction on the process, research techniques and skills of professional proposal writing. This two-and-a-half day interactive clinic is designed for executive directors, board members, staff and volunteers of nonprofit organizations. It is intended to help both the entry level as well as the intermediate grant writer who is looking to refine his or her skills in order to stay ahead of the curve.

You will learn how to successfully complete the revised Common Grant Application (CGA) and Common Grant Report (CGR) for your organization. You will also have the special opportunity to discuss the do’s and don’ts of Grant Writing with a panel of representatives from Colorado’s leading foundations. In addition, you will use CRC’s Colorado Grants Guide Online to quickly identify Foundations and Corporations that fund in your program areas. The searchable online database allows grant-seekers to research funders that support a specific area of interest, geographic location and type of grant, such as general operating or program support.

The Online Grants Guide will provide you with:

Continuously updated funder profiles
Access via an Internet connection with login ID and password
An easy-to-use “search screen” and ability to create a favorites list
A quick way to target funders who are interested in your funding needs
Searches that take minutes rather than hours or days
Financial information and recent grants
Application guidelines
Areas of interest and geographic focus
